Screenagers | NEXT CHAPTER

Join the SD48 DPAC for a community screening of SCREENAGERS: NEXT CHAPTER, followed by a panel discussion with local counsellors and students. This powerful evening explores teen mental health, the impact of screens and social media, and practical, evidence-based ways parents and schools can better support youth.

SCREENAGERS: NEXT CHAPTER takes a thoughtful, real-world look at stress, anxiety, and depression in today’s teens. Through personal stories, expert insights, and school-based approaches, the film offers tools to help build emotional resilience, improve communication, and support teen mental wellness in a screen-filled world. The screening will be followed by a panel discussion featuring local counsellors and students, creating space for reflection, questions, and meaningful community dialogue.

If you have not had a chance to see the first film "Screenagers" - here it is ! You don't have to see it to watch "Next Chapter", but it's a great film and gives some context.

Below are your access links for the upcoming online screening events - they will be live for 2 weeks from Feb 14-28 for anyone to view. It is not necessary to watch the films before the event, but if you'd like to see the first film we showed in December it's here for anyone who missed it. We will be watching just the second film Screenagers - Next Chapter at our Feb 24 event followed by a panel discussion.
